Ajira was founded in 2017 in the Chicago area by seasoned executives with a proven track record of driving technology innovation in P&C insurance. Our leadership team has a successful track record of launching state-of-the-art technology platforms. Our team brings significant prior success in the insurance software sector and award-winning implementation skills.
We are headquartered in Oak Brook, Illinois. Our software development lab is in Pune, India, often referred to as the Oxford of the East.
We started with the people outside an insurer’s walls: agencies, policyholders, healthcare providers and law firms. We built portals, mobile apps and FNOL intake tools leveraging artificial intelligence, cloud, mobile, text, video and voice technologies.
That work showed us a significant gap the market had overlooked, most sharply in medical professional liability (MPL). The last core system built for MPL from the ground up was more than 20 years ago.
So we built IntelliXform for MPL first, designed around how medical professional liability actually works rather than adapted from another line.
